Here in Kona there’s an event that takes place every first Monday of the month at a place called Jacks Dive Locker where you can have a free scuba dive class. All the years that I have lived here I never took the opportunity to do so, but a buddy from church randomly asked if we had wanted to do it. At first I was kinda above the idea, thinking that it would probably be a bunch of instruction and little actual fun. But last minute the events rolled out before us led to our attendance and participation. Which was awesome- the experience of being submerged and able to breath was incredible, unlike anything that I had experienced before. I think the best part was sitting at the bottom of the pool and looking up at the waters ceiling watching the bubbles curl into mixed colors. Truly an awesome night.
